With the theme “AI Driven Supply Chain Management”, the SCC++ was originally scheduled with a physical launch event on 24 April 2020 at SUSS Performing Arts Theatre. However, it could not take off due to the Circuit Breaker brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Although somewhat disappointed, everyone who supported SCC++ 2020, including the mentor companies, sponsors, the 5 polytechnics and ITE came alongside SLA and SUSS the co-organiser, to defer the competition to 2021.
When preparatory work for SCC++ 2021 commenced in the last quarter of 2020, the Organising Committee reviewed and revised the theme to “Reimagining Supply Chain Resilience through Digitalisation” to more appropriately reflect the current economic and industry developments.
